This year's annual Garden Writers Association's national symposium will be held in Tucson, Arizona, from October 12 - 15. It sounds like a fantastic trip and opportunity! Tucson is one of America's oldest continuously inhabited locations. The Hohokam Indians lived and farmed there more than 4,000 years ago, and since 1492 the flags of six nations have flown over the city. What a great opportunity to visit this historic city and catch up with the industry.
This is what GWA has to say about the objectives of the meeting:
Will you be there? I (Billie Brownell) will be traveling to Tucson for Cool Springs Press, and I hope to see you there. If you have a book idea you'd like to discuss or if you'd just like to a chance to catch up, please email me at bbrownell@quaysidepub.com. I will be there from Friday, October 12, through Tuesday, Octber 16, morning. I'd love to see you and hear your ideas!
